Comedian Chelsea Handler wants laws against “people who think racism is funny,” after two Chinese tourists were arrested in Germany after making Nazi salutes.
“2 Chinese guys were arrested in Berlin for making nazi salutes. Wouldn’t it be nice 2 have laws here for people who think racism is funny?” Handler tweeted Sunday.

Many were quick to tell Handler to rethink her stance.
Sounds great in theory but that’s a slippery slope. Sad that you don’t understand that.

Or do you mean celebrities can say and do what ever the hell they want and the rules are only for the rest of us?

Actually no, it would not be very nice. Also, you’d have to imprison Sarah Silverman, Larry David, and Dave Chapelle for it. https://t.co/j3dwsGYofd

Does @chelseahandler understand that under these laws she could be arrested for some of her stand up lol? She’s been pretty bad to Asians.

So racist jokes are only funny when you make them? Everyone else should be arrested. pic.twitter.com/7nxLS5h1wV
