WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Police say four motor and pump assemblies worth more than $10,000 each have been stolen from a suburban Detroit construction site.

The theft of the equipment was reported Thursday in Oakland County’s Waterford Township. Police were told the Ditch Witch equipment was removed from trucks left at the site overnight.

The missing motor and pump assemblies are used in underground drilling. Police are seeking tips from the public in the theft.
