A man burglarized an 82-year-old woman’s home Sunday night in Fairfax County, police said.
The woman was in her home in the 8000 block of Russell Road, sitting on her bed watching television, when her bedroom window was smashed out, Fairfax County police said.
When she went to the window, she found a man crawling. The man grabbed the woman, forced her into another room and demanded money that the woman gave him, police said.
The man disabled the home’s telephone, took a cell phone and the woman’s car keys, then fled in her car. Police said they recovered the car Wednesday evening in the Beacon Hill area.
