A Rockville woman accused of robbing a Southeast D.C. bank was arrested Monday, police said.
Brittany Tierra Wolfe, 21, was arrested on a federal bank robbery charge, according to D.C. police.
On March 19, Wolfe entered the SunTrust Bank in the 1300 block of Good Hope Road SE and gave a teller a note that demanded $20,000 and that stated she was armed with a gun and a bomb, police said. The teller gave Wolfe about $3,000, and Wolfe fled, according to a charging document.
Law enforcement received information that Wolfe was the robber, the document said. She lived near the bank at the time of the incident and matched the description of witnesses.
On June 26, Wolfe admitted to FBI agents that she robbed the bank, according to the document.
