Pop star and actress Cher said she hopes the “ground opens” when President Trump delivers his acceptance speech for the Republican nomination for president so that “WE NEVER SEE HIS UGLY FACE AGAIN.”

Cher was referring to the possibility that Trump would give his acceptance speech in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the site of the bloodiest battle of the Civil War. Trump indicated Thursday that he will hold the speech at the White House.
“I’ll probably be giving my speech at the White House because it is a great place. It’s a place that makes me feel good, it makes the country feel good,” Trump said last week.
Cher is an outspoken critic of the president and his allies in Washington, D.C., tweeting earlier this month that “heartless” Republicans are out of touch with U.S. citizens struggling to make ends meet.
“Washington is so lucky I’m not in office. I Would be protesting on capital steps, Swearing Like a Sailor,” Cher tweeted. “F— Those Heartless Republican Gutter [rat or mouse emojis], They Probably Dont,Know Anyone who Has Lost,or Is Losing Their Job,House,apt,No one in trumps Family is Sick Or Losing Anything.”
