This is almost certainly the most entertaining thing to have ever happened in a macroeconomics class.
A group of students at Aquinas College organized an April Fool’s Day prank around their econ professor’s policy of making students answer incoming phone calls on speakerphone, according to a video of the joke. Such a requirement can lead the disciplinarian to “walk right into it,” so to speak.
Sure enough, the students prearranged an awkward phone call to one of the students during class time, leading the prof to be both embarrassed and apologetic.
Just wait for his reaction during the big reveal.
