In a hypothetical, definitely make-believe matchup for U.S. Senate in 2016, Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval of Nevada would crush Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid by double digits, according to new polling data from Harper Polling.
The poll, which was conducted from July 26-29 and contains a margin of error of plus or minus 3.99 percentage points, found that Sandoval would beat Reid 53 percent to 43 percent.
