Obama’s whereabouts

As his wife prepared for her big moment Monday, Barack Obama worked on his nomination acceptance speech at a Chicago hotel.

The Illinois senator will begin to wend his way to Denver today, making a series of campaign stops in battleground states. Aides said he plans to contrast his humble background with John McCain’s more privileged upbringing.

As for his speech, he told reporters, “Hopefully it will make clear the choice that the American people are going to face in November.”
