Jimmy Fallon’s musical talent and impersonations are fast becoming the staple of his “Tonight Show” segments, and he was at it again Wednesday night, this time as Tom Petty.
Donning a blonde wig and a jacket with the collar popped, Fallon and classic rocker Stevie Nicks recreated the music video to her song “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.” The actual Tom Petty and Nicks starred in the original video more than 30 years ago.
Old Nirvana bandmates Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic did the honors of introducing the duo.
The performance comes just a night after Fallon and Anne Hathaway performed Broadway renditions of classic hip-hop songs. (Is this pretty much “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’s Music?”)
