Democrats are poking fun at Republican candidate Donald Trump with a new hat.
For $28, the Democratic National Committee is selling blue caps with white letters that read: “America Is Already Great.”
The words are a play off of Trump’s oft-repeated “Make America Great Again” slogan, which he slapped on a hat and has worn at multiple of campaign events. The hats, available in a variety of colors, are currently on sale on his website for $25-$30.
“America is already great,” the product description in the DNC online store reads, “so we printed up this union-made hat right here in America, which is great.”
“Wear it with pride when you’re telling your friends about 67 straight months of private-sector job growth under President Obama,” the description continues, “historically low uninsured rates, and progress protecting our environment that will keep America beautiful (and great) for generations to come.”
