Three 2024 Republican presidential candidates have reportedly received maximum campaign donations from leaders on Wall Street.
Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley were among those who received upward of a dozen maximum contributions from leaders in the finance industry, according to an analysis by NBC News and CBS News.

The maximum that people are allowed to contribute is $3,300 before the primary or $6,600 for the entire cycle. DeSantis received 15 such donations, while Ramaswamy and Haley received 12 each.
During the 2020 election, then-candidate Joe Biden greatly outraised Donald Trump in Wall Street contributions with over $74 million, while Trump reported $18 million. A similar preference for candidates other than Trump is expected to appear.
DeSantis raised more than $20 million since his candidacy announcement in late May. Trump’s campaign came in second with a reported $17.7 million.

Haley has raised $7.3 million, and Ramaswamy inched ahead with $7.7 million.
