President Donald Trump is holding a rally in Springfield, Missouri tonight, the home state of Sen. Claire McCaskill.
McCaskill has been an outspoken opponent of Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh.

Kavanaugh’s confirmation by the Senate was thrown into question last week after he was accused of sexual misconduct by a woman who says he assaulted her decades ago.
On Friday morning, Trump tweeted “charges would have been immediately filed” if the woman’s assault was “as bad as she says.”
Also on Friday, the New York Times published a report detailing how Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein discussed wearing a wire to capture privileged conversations with President Trump, and also considered plotting Trump’s removal from office under the 25th Amendment.
Trump has yet to respond to the New York Times story.
