New poll: Roy Moore leading comfortably in Alabama Senate runoff

Published

Luther Strange, Alabama’s recently appointed incumbent U.S. senator, survived Round One of Alabama’s Senate primary, finishing second to make it to a runoff against former state Chief Justice Roy Moore. In Strange’s case, it has to do with his appointment to the Senate by a disgraced former governor whom he had been investigating from his former job as attorney general.
