Trump Jr.: Democratic Party of JFK ‘is dead,’ replaced by ‘unbridled socialism’

Donald Trump Jr. proclaimed Wednesday morning that the Democratic Party that existed under President John F. Kennedy is dead after the far-left claimed several victories the previous night.

“Congrats to the Democrats, who after last night are now officially the Party of impeachment, open borders, abolishing ICE, banning the 2nd Amendment and unbridled socialsim,” President Trump’s eldest son said in a tweet.

Trump Jr.’s comments come amid uproar over the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy, and traditionally left-wing candidates are now being pressured to react by taking even further liberal positions.

Three days ago, former presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., was lambasted by supporters for refusing to call for the abolition of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Meanwhile, Joseph Crowley, D-N.Y., who has served 10 terms and is the fourth-highest ranking member of the House of Representatives, lost his reelection bid last night to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a 28-year-old Democratic socialist running on a deeply liberal platform, including the abolition of ICE.

Ocasio-Cortez ran on a campaign arguing that Crowley was no longer ideologically or demographically in touch with his district.

Ocasio-Cortez told CNN in an interview Wednesday that if she wins the election she would support a motion to impeach Trump.

Meanwhile, former NAACP chief Ben Jealous won the Democratic nomination in Maryland’s gubernatorial primary last night, running on a liberal platform of legalizing marijuana, making college free and establishing a single-payer healthcare system in the state, the Baltimore Sun reported.
