Performers of all genres are encouraged to audition Tuesday for MetroPerforms!, a program put on by Metro that hosts live performances at Metrorail stations. Those performers selected to participate will also be invited to perform at the Music on the Mall program developed by the National Park Service and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton. Auditions will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Metro headquarters at 600 Fifth St. NW. Performances at the stations will take place through September. – Roxanne Turnbull
