Kid Rock called Oprah Winfrey a “fraud” after she endorsed Democratic Pennsylvania senatorial candidate John Fetterman over rival Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz.
While Winfrey has historically supported Democratic candidates, her endorsement of Fetterman surprised some as Dr. Oz had been a frequent guest on her show and her production company, Harpo Productions, co-produced Oz’s the Dr. Oz Show.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, took issue with Winfrey’s endorsement in light of her previous support of Oz.

Fetterman shared Oprah’s endorsement of him Friday, tweeting: “It turns out Dr. Oz was not one of Oprah’s favorite things.”

The race between Oz and Fetterman has shaped up to be the closest Senate contest in the country, as Oz leads Fetterman by 0.1 percentage points in the RealClearPolitics average of polls.
