‘Trump Effect’ movie trailer hits Clinton: ‘Beware of dog’

Donald Trump shared a strange movie trailer on Monday morning that plays up the violence at his campaign rallies and calls Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton a “dog.”

The two-minute, unofficial trailer was first posted on Twitter by a user named “Immigrant4Trump,” and later tweeted out by the Republican presidential front-runner. Trump captioned the video with his “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan.

Many of the issues Trump has made central to his campaign — like illegal immigration, the offshoring of American jobs and radical Islamic extremism — are depicted in the trailer using stock footage, while a dramatic score plays overhead.

The trailer appears to borrow a voice-over by Martin Sheen for the 2010 video game “Mass Effect 2.”

“We’re at war. No one wants to admit it, but humanity’s under attack. One very specific man might be all that stands between humanity and the greatest threat of our brief existence,” Sheen says.

In addition to footage taken from the news cycle, images of iconic American monuments and Trump’s signature campaign rallies play onscreen while the billionaire is heard promising Americans he’ll “win all the time” in soundbites taken from his stump speech.

Just as the trailer appears to come to an end, a now-infamous video clip of Clinton barking at one of her campaign rallies pops up with a warning to voters: “Beware of dog.”
