2 year-old boy found wandering in Silver Spring, reunited with family

Authorities reunited with family members a toddler who was found unattended in Silver Spring, Montgomery County police said .

Shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday, a citizen found the 2 to 3 year-old boy crying and walking along Connecticut between Viers Mill Road and Randolph Road. The boy was unable to say were he lived. Police conducted a door-to-door search in the area, but officers could not find his parents or guardians. The boy was placed in foster care.

Family members were located friday afternoon police said.
