Student Antifa organizations dox, protest ICE agents

In the wake of outrage over hard line immigration policies, several Antifa groups in Texas have banded together to call for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, better known as ICE, to be abolished, publishing personal details of agency personnel in the process.

“Beware of these scum & encourage them to get out of the city & quiet [sic] their jobs if you see them,” the Antifa group Autonomous Student Network – Austin (ASN) tweeted in part, along with a link to a list of ICE agents.

Produced by Antifa group Revolutionary Horizon, the document links to numerous ICE personnel, including job titles, Facebook profiles, and even pictures of children. ICE personnel identified range from legal counsel to deportation officers and interns.

“Click through the images to see the agents that have been identified with photos & social media profiles. Below are agents who have not yet been matched with a social media profile or photo,” the group’s document reads.

Revolutionary Horizon describes itself as a “revolutionary group that primarily consists of students at the University of Texas at San Antonio” that focuses a “radical, revolutionary lens on the struggles faced by the student community.”

Similarly, Autonomous Student Network’s Facebook page describes the group as “an organization that seeks to promote student autonomy through direct action tactics.” The group proclaims, “We hope to proliferate new forms-of-life on campus that break with all systems of control.”

Moreover, the group urges students to “Spread Anarchy” and “Live Communism!”

Efforts to dox ICE personnel are far from the extent the Antifa coalition has gone to in order to protest Trump’s immigration policies. They’ve even resorted to mapping ICE raids and alerting illegal immigrants of the agency’s presence.

On July 4, Autonomous Student Network, Austin tweeted a link to a live map featuring the locations of dozens of ICE raids across the country. ASN even sends text alerts to disrupt ICE and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) operations in San Antonio.

“Free text alerts to notify the San Antonio community of fascist activity, including I.C.E. and D.H.S. presence in neighborhoods,” a blog post on ASN’s website advertises.

“This racist country has a long history of being unkind to immigrants,” the blog post proclaims. “Things look bleak if you are an immigrant being detained. That is, if they catch you.”

“Next time there is a raid, or another truck is found carrying undocumented folks, or even if there is a sighting of ICE presence in your neighborhood, a text alert will be sent to those who are signed up. This can be used to make sure any undocumented people who are in the area can clear out in order to avoid being stopped and questioned,” the blog post states.

Furthermore, Revolutionary Horizon is gearing up to protest San Antonio ICE agents on their home turf at an event titled “Vigilia Hasta Que Hay Justicia.”

“On July 17th, San Antonio will answer the national call for action against ICE. We will hold vigil outside the ICE facility on Crosspoint st. The vigil will be for those we have lost and have been separated from at the border. We will hold the space until our demands for justice are met. Bring chairs, food, and plenty of water,” the event’s flier reads.

Red Alert Politics reached out to Revolutionary Horizon and Autonomous Student Network, Austin, but did not receive a response in time for publication.
