Perhaps he was a little punchy due to being up so early for an appearance on “Morning Joe,” but NBC’s Tom Brokaw didn’t hold back when helping colleague Chuck Todd describe just how Mitt Romney needed to dance with voters. Todd pointed out that the former Massachusetts governor needed to delicately coax conservatives into the I-support-Romney column. “The hard part for the Romney campaign now is that they’ve got to figure out to gently nudge the conservatives into their corner without looking like it’s being forced upon them,” Todd explained.
“I have not seen that dance step from the Romney campaign, I mean that’s a really subtle move, and he tends to go one way and crashes into the wall or goes on and does the White Man Overbite,” Brokaw said, sticking out his chin and wiggling it around, just like Billy Crystal‘s character in “When Harry Met Sally.” “This is the recipe — one part, little sleep, huh?” Todd chimed in, as “Morning Joe” host Mika Brzezinski and NBC’s David Gregory cracked up.
