Police have released more photographs of the man they believe has been slashing young women at Fairfax County stores.

Police said at least five women in their teens and early 20s have been cut. The most recent happened Monday, when a man cut an 18-year-old woman at the Forever XXI store at the Fair Oaks Mall at about 5:30 p.m., police said.

The man distracts the women, then cuts them with a box cutter or razor, police said.

Another incident was reported at the Marshall’s at Greenbriar Shopping Center on June 20 at about 2:45 p.m. Police on Wednesday released images of the suspect from that incident.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his late 20s, about 5-foot-6 and having a heavy build.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or police at 703-691-2131.
