Like so many other liberals and establishment Republicans, Bill Maher was taking a victory lap about the recent problems plaguing former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos.
Maher took credit for the recent problems because by having him on his show, the comedian said he exposed him as a “needy, emotional Ann Coulter wannabe.” None of that is true, but it makes Maher feel good about himself.
The comedian actually has some experience discussing pedophilia because he defended 35-year old adults having sex with 12-year old children back in 1998.
During a conversation about Mary Kay Letourneau, a 35-year-old schoolteacher who had a sexual relationship with 12-year old student Vili Fualaau, Maher said her only crime was being in love.
“The teacher from Seattle is in jail because she is in love. That’s how I view it,” Maher said. “I admit that it’s unorthodox, she’s 35, the boy is 14. He was younger when they started. But she is pregnant again. That was the story this week. This is the second child by this boy. They are keeping the mother in jail because she won’t conform to what society feels should be the perfect American family.”
He absolutely refused to acknowledge that the situation was rape and insisted that a woman could not rape a man.
