Bill Clinton once sent Kobe Bryant a booklist

Jimmy Kimmel spoke to NBA star Kobe Bryant on his show Monday night and asked the Los Angeles Lakers guard about his friendship with Bill Clinton that prompted the former president to say last month that Bryant would make a good president.

“We had a chance to talk,” Bryant explained. “It was at an event and we were talking, and I’m just very curious. I wanted to know while he was president what books did he read to improve year after year. How do you improve that skill?”

“And he gave me a rundown of every book that he read,” the NBA player continued. “He sent me a booklist and everything. We had a great conversation about the pressures he faced being a world leader. So, maybe that’s where it came from. I don’t know.”

Unfortunately for Clinton, Bryant has no interest in running for the White House. Or, maybe that’s a good thing. What would Bill do if Kobe upset Hillary?!
