Apparently, all those Hollywood fundraisers are really paying off.
Hillary Clinton is currently sweeping the entertainment industry vote, with rapper Ja Rule admitting on Fox Business Thursday that he will vote for the Democratic candidate for president.
“I like Hillary,” Ja Rule told “Money” host Melissa Francis when asked about his assessment of the 2016 presidential field. “I like Hillary. But, you know, it’s crazy because I think Jeb [Bush] is a good candidate as well. I’m a Democrat, so I would vote for Hillary.”
Ja Rule joins many celebrities — including rapper Waka Flocka Flame, actress Olivia Wilde and actor Michael Kelly — who have already expressed their support for Hillary.
Appropriately, Clinton spent Thursday attending three separate fundraisers in Hollywood, raising upwards of $2.6 million for her presidential campaign.
