Eyeball stolen from Va. science museum

Thieves have stolen a giant eyeball decoration from the Science Museum of Virginia, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.

An eyeball cover wrapped around a 29-ton sculpture in front of the museum, which spanned more than eight feet in diameter, was stolen over the weekend, the museum’s director told the newspaper.

The eyeball cover had just been put up to promote the museum’s Halloween-oriented exhibit, “Goose Bumps, the Science of Fear.”
