Marijuana company official resigns

BOSTON (AP) — A top official for a company that won a provisional license to operate two medical marijuana dispensaries in Massachusetts has stepped down after it was reported he erroneously claimed he was a college graduate.

Kevin Fisher said in a letter to the board of directors at New England Treatment Access Inc. that he was resigning as executive director because of the “error I included in my resume.” The company said he now has no role in its governance.
