If D.C. Council chairman Vince Gray is going to be mayor, he must convince white Washington that he’s committed to Fenty-style reforms. If Adrian Fenty is going to remain mayor, he must convince white Washington that he’s not as arrogant as his critics say he is.
The event starts at 7 p.m. and is being moderated by Kathy Patterson, the former Ward 3 councilwoman who ran against Gray for council chair in 2006. She and Fenty were once tight political allies, but the relationship chilled.
