PBS’s Gwen Ifill toasting comedian Will Ferrell at the Kennedy Center Sunday night, as the “Saturday Night Live” and “Elf” star was given the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, according to the Associated Press’ account. Another fun fact regarding the two: Ifill mentored Ferrell for his role as Ron Burgundy in “Anchorman,” the AP noted.
