Actress Rose McGowan slammed Democrats following their convention this week, making the argument that they haven’t accomplished “anything” and blaming them for the election of Donald Trump as president.
“What have the Democrats done to solve ANYTHING?” the actress tweeted as the Democratic National Convention was concluding Thursday night. “Help the poor? No. Help black & brown people? No. Stop police brutality? No. Help single mothers? No. Help children? No. You have achieved nothing. NOTHING. Why did people vote Trump? Because of you motherf——.”

The tweet was retweeted over 13,000 times and liked over 42,000 times as of midday Friday.
McGowan, who accused disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of rape, has been vocal about her belief of Tara Reade’s sexual assault and harassment allegations against Joe Biden, and she lashed out against the former vice-president in a tweet earlier in the night.
“You are the season of darkness,” McGowan tweeted. “@JoeBiden @dnc You are monsters. You are frauds. You are the lie.”

McGowan also pushed back against Twitter users who objected to her tweets.
“Lol,” she tweeted in response to a Twitter user who called her comments “ugly.”

“And if you can’t see that I’m dragging everyone to force them to be better & hold them accountable then you are delusional,” she added.
Biden accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president Thursday night and preached a message of unity in his acceptance speech.
“Here and now, I give you my word: If you entrust me with the presidency, I will draw on the best of us, not the worst,” Biden said. “I will be an ally of the light, not of the darkness. It’s time for us, for we the people, to come together.”
Biden accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president on Thursday night and called for unity in his acceptance speech while also criticizing President Trump, who he said “cloaked America in darkness.”
