Hunter Biden reached a temporary settlement in his child support dispute, just two days before he was scheduled for a mandatory court appearance to explain why he had not turned over his financial information.

Biden has been fighting the paternity suit, filed by Lunden Alexis Roberts, the mother of his 1-year-old child, since last May. The agreement was approved Monday afternoon by Arkansas Circuit Court Judge Holly Meyer, postponing Biden’s in-person court appearance on Wednesday to determine whether he should be held in contempt of court for allegedly failing to submit his tax records for the past five years and other financial documents.
