Trump: ‘They’re All Against Me,’ and ‘Everybody Knows It’

Donald Trump released a video message Monday morning, naming most every political apparatus imaginable as one of his adversaries.

“The establishment, the media, the special interests, the lobbyists, the donors — they’re all against me,” the Republican front-runner for president intones directly into a camera.

“They are really trying to stop me. Everybody knows it, everybody sees it,” he says later during the 38-second clip.

Trump also repeats a thoroughly challenged claim about his fundraising strategy, claiming that he’s “self-funding” his campaign.

“I don’t owe anybody anything. I only owe it to the American people to do a great job,” he states.

However, the wealthy mogul reported $3.7 million of “unsolicited donations” to his campaign in an October filing with the Federal Election Commission.

Perhaps even more valuable is his ubiquitous presence on the media outlets he decries, which has helped ensure his dominance of election coverage. That contribution to his campaign has been priceless.

Fighting the EstablishmentI want to win for the people of this great country. The only people I will owe are the voters. The media, special interests, and lobbyists are all trying to stop me.
