Patriots star Matt Judon wants mac and cheese off the Thanksgiving table

Matt Judon feels as strongly about macaroni and cheese as he does about hunting down quarterbacks.

The New England Patriots linebacker was asked a softball question during Wednesday’s press conference about his favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal.

But he used his opportunity in the spotlight to draw a line in the sand instead.

“All right, well, I’m not even going to answer your question,” he started. “I’m gonna tell you, we’ve got to get macaroni and cheese off the table.”

Judon proceeded to dismantle why the side staple should not be part of the slap-up feast.

“It’s just cheese and noodles. All right, I’m getting up on my soap opera. It’s just cheese and noodles, and it’s not that good. Let’s be honest, guys: Everybody is probably here a little lactose [intolerant] so it messes up our stomachs, and we’ve got to get it off the table. It’s probably one of the most overrated dishes,” he said.

“I have never liked macaroni and cheese. And you know how they say, like, ‘Oh, your taste buds change every seven years?’ Every time I try it, it’s the same thing. It is never going to change. It is never going to get better, all right? I’m almost 30 now, I’m pretty set in my ways, and it’s disgusting,” he added. “Get it off the table. The bathrooms will be less busy, and everybody will have a better day. So if you want to have a good Thanksgiving, don’t cook macaroni and cheese.”

He added that despite his controversial views, the rest of his family loves it.

“My brothers and sisters, my mom cooks it, big pan. They know not to put it on my plate, or that’s fighting words. I’m going to have to fight everybody in the house one by one. And I’m going to wait until they eat their macaroni and cheese, get sluggish, then I’ll whoop them,” he concluded.
