Woman goes viral twice making anti-Asian remarks

A California woman who went viral after making racist comments toward an Asian woman exercising at a park became viral again Thursday thanks to a video in which she appears to be confronting an Asian man in a parking lot.

The unidentified woman was seen approaching a man parked next to her vehicle and saying she’s not a racist person but that he needed to go home.

The man, who recorded the encounter, said he was from the area and he was home. The woman said she didn’t care that he was filming or that he may post the footage online.

“Do you know how many people can’t stand you being here?” she said. “You play games. We don’t play games.”

When the man asked what kind of game she was playing, she responded, “I play games where you get f—ed to death.”

The man stepped closer to the woman’s vehicle to capture her plate number while the woman threatened to send him to “real jail.” She repeatedly asked if he understood her and called him a “Chinaman” in a mocking accent.

The man responded by telling her to respect people and to get educated.

“This is my country, and this is from my government. Go home,” she said.

In another incident that took place on Wednesday at Wilson Park in Torrance, another video appears to show the same woman harassing a young Asian American woman working out in a park, calling her a “bitch” and telling her to go back to “whatever f—ing Asian country you belong to.”

Local officials said the situation is under investigation.

“There are definitely two incidents that we have an active criminal investigation ongoing,” said Sgt. Ron Salary of the Torrance Police Department, according to the Los Angeles Times.
