Vice President Mike Pence and second lady Karen Pence are set to receive the COVID-19 vaccine live on television during the 8 a.m. hour Friday morning.
Vaccine distribution began nationwide earlier this week, and some politicians have already indicated that they will be getting it in the near future. More than 17 million people have contracted the virus in the United States, while over 300,000 have died from it, according to Johns Hopkins University’s coronavirus tracker.
