Never-before-seen Jan. 6 footage from Pelosi’s daughter to air after hearing

Never-before-seen insider video, taken by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi‘s (D-CA) daughter, is airing Thursday night after the Jan. 6 committee shared some footage during a presentation earlier in the day.

UPDATE: FOOTAGE SHOWS PELOSI WAS READY TO ‘PUNCH’ TRUMP IF HE DARED TRAVEL TO CAPITOL ON JAN. 6

CNN‘s Anderson Cooper said viewers will witness a “really a remarkable piece of history” when he unveils the video, which he said will include images from within Pelosi’s office before the Capitol riot, the speaker’s evacuation with family, and their return once the complex was secure.

The footage was taken by filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, who was at the Capitol to document the certification of President Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.

While the Jan. 6 committee played several minutes of video during the hearing on Thursday, including of congressional leaders who were moved to Fort McNair while working to deploy law enforcement to secure the Capitol, Cooper said CNN has obtained most of the more than 40 minutes of “material” given to the panel.

“He’s got remarkable, previously unseen footage of Speaker Pelosi and others on January 6. Trust me,” tweeted CNN legal analyst Elie Honig, who is a former state and federal prosecutor.

Cooper is expected to show the exclusive video on his show, AC360, at 8 p.m. EDT.
