College professor arrested for assaulting Trump supporters with a bike lock

Colleges have become ground zero for liberal intolerance where conservative students are often silenced, lambasted, and even attacked. One does not have to go any further than the administrators and professors to see how things have gotten so bad.

Berkelyside reported that a former Diablo Valley College professor named Eric Clanton was arrested on Wednesday for attacking three Trump supporters with a U-lock bike lock, causing one serious injury.

Clanton has some loose associations with the violent far-left group Antifa and attended a protest against Trump supporters that took place in Berkeley on April 15.

The professor’s identity went unknown for weeks. Long before law enforcement was able to make a determination pro-Trump activists on 4chan uncovered his identity by examining still shots of his face, eyes, and posture. Police hinted that the work of internet trolls may have provided some assistance in discovering Clanton was the attacker.

Since 2015, the Antifa professor has taught an “introduction to philosophy with a background in teaching ethics, critical thinking, and comparative philosophy East/West.” He lectured with the California State University system and as a philosophy instructor with the Contra Costa Community College District, reported The East Bay Times.
