Campaign gang returns to help Obama deal with scandals


Politico’s Glenn Thrush and Reid Epstein reported Wednesday morning that White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough met with Obama campaign alums last week to help craft messaging to deal with the scandals.

According to the report, former Campaign Manager David Plouffe, Senior Campaign Strategist David Axelrod, Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter and Senior Campaign Adviser Robert Gibbs were part of the meeting.
