The Financial Times reports that Russia’s GRU military intelligence service is escalating its assassination plots against European defense executives. While similar Russian plots have been disrupted since the February 2022 start of Moscow’s war against Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin is now pursuing attack plots with greater intensity. This includes Russian assassination plots on U.S. soil.
