Trump returns: Voters give him historic mandate for second-term agenda
In the days leading up to the 2024 presidential election, Democrats were worried that Donald Trump would declare victory prematurely based on early returns. “We are sadly ready if he does, and if we know that he is actually manipulating the press and attempting to manipulate the consensus of the American people … we are prepared to respond,” Vice President Kamala Harris told ABC News. “Of course.
