Jim Acosta says Fox News is a “bulls— factory.”
The CNN personality, who became a weekend anchor for the network earlier this month, played several clips of Fox News pundits from throughout the week saying President Joe Biden would reduce U.S. red meat consumption in an effort to combat climate change. Fox News issued a correction on Friday, with John Roberts saying the 2020 University of Michigan study “was accurate but a graphic and the script incorrectly implied that it was part of Biden’s plan for dealing with climate change. That is not the case.”
“You may want to laugh this off … but the lies these days are moving at the speed of light while spreading so much darkness,” he said.

Acosta then delved into a second news story that copies of a children’s book written by Vice President Kamala Harris were spotted at a migrant children’s shelter in Long Beach, California.
“That tale from the border didn’t just border on B.S. This was USDA grade-A bulls—, and the reporter who wrote the story resigned, claiming she was forced to make it up,” Acosta said. “But the damage was done, pumped out over the airwaves at the bulls— factory also known as Fox News.”
Acosta went on to slam Fox’s Tucker Carlson as a “doctor of disinformation … who sounds like he went to medical school at Trump University” for Carlson’s belief that masks should never be worn outside, especially by children.
“Remember: Lies, big lies, can have terrible consequences,” Acosta added.
Acosta, a frequent foil to former President Donald Trump, has attracted controversy during his tenure at CNN. The anchor drew mockery for posting a photo getting his COVID-19 vaccine while sporting a shirt deemed as “self-flattering,” and he accused Trump of being a “threat” to the United States with the potential to lead a “fringe movement” going forward.
The chief domestic correspondent is frequently met with chants of “CNN sucks!” when covering GOP events.

On one occasion, Acosta responded to a crowd of hecklers gathering behind him as he was broadcasting live.
“And as this crowd is chanting that there are members of the press here who suck, I should also point out what also sucks — getting the coronavirus,” he said.
Representatives for Fox News and CNN did not immediately respond to the Washington Examiner’s requests for comment.
