President-elect Trump ripped NBC News on Wednesday for not giving him enough credit for recent corporate announcements that they’re going to be adding jobs in the United States.
“Totally biased @NBCNews went out of its way to say that the big announcement from Ford, G.M., Lockheed & others that jobs are coming back to the U.S., but had nothing to do with TRUMP, is more FAKE NEWS,” Trump tweeted. “Ask top CEO’s of those companies for real facts. Came back because of me!”

His criticism of NBC News came a day after General Motors and Walmart both announced additional jobs and investment coming to the United States. Both of those companies told reporters on Tuesday that those additional investments and job additions were long-planned and not sparked by the president-elect.
Ford Motor Co. also recently added jobs and expanded operations in a plant in Michigan instead of building a plant in Mexico. The company’s CEO said Trump’s ascension to the White House was part of the company’s calculation but was not a deciding factor.
Lockheed Martin has had a contentious relationship with Trump since his election after he’s criticized the company’s process of building the F-35. That criticism caused the company’s stock price to dive on the days he makes his comments.
Recently, the company’s CEO met with Trump and told him the price for the F-35 would be “significantly” lower and add jobs in the United States.
Trump also tweeted part of a Wall Street Journal story saying that Bayer agreed to add jobs in the U.S. after a meeting with Trump.
No wonder the Today Show on biased @NBC is doing so badly compared to its glorious past. Little credibility!
