Caesars Entertainment Corp., which heads a group of investors bidding on a casino in downtown Baltimore, supports legislation to expand gambling in Maryland, officials said.
While the gambling giant doesn’t take too kindly to the idea of a casino in Prince George’s County — a potential competitor to its proposed casino in Baltimore — other measures in the bill would make Maryland’s gambling industry more competitive with surrounding states, according to Trevor Busche, vice president of corporate development.
