Today’s Washington Examiner Morning Examiner highlights President Obama’s upcoming fundraising trip to New York City. Obama, who is just returning from a weekend event in Los Angeles, will attend two DNC events Tuesday night in New York.

Last week turned out to be a very good one for current Lt. Governor and Democratic candidate for Maryland governor, Anthony Brown. Brown announced $800,000 raised from the end of May through the first week in June and now has close to $2 million cash-on-hand. Brown is in a three-person race for the Democratic nomination. The primary is June 24.
