Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore rode to the polls on horseback Tuesday.
Moore, a former Alabama chief justice, is competing for the seat previously held by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Moore was photographed wearing a black cowboy hat, a T-shirt, and jeans while riding his horse named “Sassy” to the Gallant Volunteer Fire Department.
He told the Associated Press that riding a horse to vote is a family tradition.
