SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Figures show 360 homes were sold in July in the Shreveport-Bossier City area — making it the most active month for home sales in that area since July 2008, when 385 homes were sold.
The Times reports (http://bit.ly/PmENg8) that last month’s figure was a 7 percent increase over July 2011, when 338 were sold.
The average Shreveport-Bossier home price for July was $182,696, down 6 percent from July 2011. The average home price per square foot over the year was $87.21, a decline of 2 percent.
