CHICAGO (AP) — New tourism numbers show Chicago hosted about 6 percent more visitors in 2012 than the city had in 2011.
Chicago tourism officials announced Tuesday that the city had 46.2 million visitors in 2012. That’s more than the approximately 43.6 million people who visited Chicago in 2011. The city had 45 million domestic visitors in 2012 and 1.24 million international visitors.
