NORMAL, Ill. (AP) — Illinois State University is expecting a large incoming freshman class this year.

Move-in day at the Normal school is next week. The Pantagraph reports (http://bit.ly/1uiTRNo) the school’s freshman class should be between 3,500 and 3,600 students this fall. Troy Johnson is ISU’s vice president of enrollment management. He says that’s up from just less than 3,000 last year. Official numbers won’t be available until the tenth day of classes.
