Sebastian Gorka parts ways with Fox News

Former Trump administration adviser Sebastian Gorka is no longer a Fox News contributor.

A Fox News spokesperson told Market Watch that the former White House staffer would no longer appear, or be paid, as a contributor on Fox News.

Gorka worked for Fox before becoming President Trump’s deputy assistant in Jan. 2017, and then returned to the network after being forced out of the White House in Aug. 2017 by then-chief of staff John Kelly.

Although the Hungarian-American did not appear on many hard news shows on Fox, he was a fixture on many commentary programs like Sean Hannity.

In a response to a request for comment on parting ways from Fox, Gorka accused a reporter with the digital outlet Mediaite of being “obsessed with me,” and being in a “drug-induced haze.”

“You really are obsessed with me aren’t you,” Gorka said in one of several emails he sent to the digital outlet. “I’d be flattered if you weren’t a washed-out hack.”
