THE DAILY OUTRAGE: What’s spent on Vegas stays in Vegas

WHO: Federal Highway Administration

WHAT: Spending a $300,000 federal grant to restore two signs from Las Vegas’ Neon Museum. Rep. Shelley Berkley, D-Nev., described the importance of neon as being “to Las Vegas what skyscrapers are to Manhattan.”

WHY IT’S AN OUTRAGE: Other neon signs that have become eligible for federal grants include those outside casinos and strip clubs. Why are taxpayers footing the bill?

WHERE TO VENT: Call Berkley at 702-220-9823.
