Two Oklahoma firefighters are alright after a U-Haul being pulled by an SUV slid off a road and slammed into them.
Dramatic video released by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Department of Public Safety shows the moment the accident occurred. The two firefighters hit were on the side of the road responding to another car accident.
In the video, a dark SUV careens backwards down a slick road before the U-Haul it was pulling jackknifes and hits the two men, coming to a stop soon after.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Department of Public Safety warned drivers against speeding, especially when roads are wet from rain and there are flashing lights on the side of the road.
“This is a graphic reminder to slow down when streets are slick,” the agency’s account tweeted. “This is from a wreck we worked several weeks ago. The 2 men hit are Stringtown firefighters and this video came from the Stringtown police chief. Both men are ok – no broken bones.”
